SUCCESS IS ACCOMPANIED BY CLARITY
Imagine entering a pitch-black space that you are unfamiliar with without any lighting. Have you yet to imagine it? How did you see it? I'll hazard a guess and say that you ran into several objects. Even your feet were just stabbed by a sharp object. So, that's how you approach a goal without clarity, I suppose.
What is clarity? The definition of clarity is the quality of being clear. A situation in which you are clear-headed, unaffected by the views of others or the barriers that stand in your way. People frequently advise you to be tenacious, courageous, persistent and focused because, in essence, these are the very qualities you are expected to possess on your success journey but wait.
Although the aforementioned attributes are necessary, clarity comes first. A well-thought-out strategy, a target that is distinct from others, and a plan with a defined structure to reach it So that you avoid wasting your time or going on an Israelite's journey. Imagine, they wasted 40 years on a journey that could have lasted weeks.
Now, having a goal and having it clearly sketched out is essential.
Lack of clarity, in the words of Steve Maraboli, says, “may throw brakes on any successful trip.” Therefore, if you don't have a clear aim, vision, or purpose, you risk being stuck, moving backward rather than ahead, or even giving up on a task.
Before you assume that having clarity or clear goals will lead to a smooth path to success, allow me to reiterate that determination, focus, and other peers are equally as important as Clarity. It's just that when you have a clear goal, these qualities act as accelerators.
Consider what Tobi Amusan, the recent winner of the athletic competition that just ended, said in 2016: “Unknown now, but soon I will be remembered.” She had a clear idea of what she wanted to accomplish, which was to achieve a success that would be remembered. She went further to say “I will persist until I succeed.”
First, Tobi Amusan had a clear idea of what she wanted to do, which was to have an unforgettable success. You would agree with me that Tobi Amusan is not someone we are quickly forgetting because she not only won a gold medal but also broke a record. Once she had a clear idea of what she wanted, the six years before it became a reality was when she put determination, persistence, patience and focus, and others into action.
Now, let's go through how to embark on a successful journey with clarity now that you understand what clarity is?
Begin with a distinct vision
Having a plan for your life is a sign that you are mindful of your life but having a clear vision is the ace of it. Many people are out there trying to succeed by doing various things, or better put, running from pillar to pole without direction. I can be certain they won't get anywhere because they didn't start out with a destination so, they may as well not be heading anywhere. Have a clear idea of what you want, my dear friend.
Small at first
The majority of us always want to start out big because we believe it will ensure success, but that is not the case. “Do not despise the days of little beginning,” one of the holy books advises. “For your latter end shall be larger than your beginning.” Therefore, that road you so obviously desire to toll is shortly to become a road for others if you keep at it.
Avoid complications
We have a tendency to make things more complicated than they need to be for ourselves. When traveling with a clear head, avoid pushing too many tasks that are unrelated to your intended goal. Otherwise, you risk complicating your goal and ending up stranded because you added tasks that did not align with your initial goal. Imagine if your goal was to become as famous as neurosurgeon Ben Carson by becoming a Neurosurgeon too, but instead of focusing on the right road, you chose to do things like music, hockey, judo, and karate sorry, you are heading the wrong way. Set off on a journey without complicating it because you already have a lot on your plate.
Make the toll road accessible.
Make it simple, similar to when you set a goal, without complicating it. If your objective is to go to the gym every morning, make it simple for yourself by placing your exercise clothes near the side of your bed. Now, you decide whether to go to the gym in the morning.
Keep in mind to specify your destination, so you don't travel other people's paths unless those paths lead to your own.
In conclusion, you should be aware of what you will accomplish by setting a specific goal:
Clarity gives you a destination
It helps you advance more quickly toward success.
It facilitates overcoming challenges.
It keeps you focused and less disoriented.
“A clear mind leads to better judgment, which leads to a better outcome,” says Naval Ravikant.
Clarity leads to contentment and helps in owning mistakes
Success is accompanied by clarity
Important notice: As you go this new month restrategize, the goal you want to get and attack it with a clear mind now don't go around looking for motivation if what you need is clarity. James Clear once said " Many people think they lack motivation when what they really lack is clarity"

ReplyDeleteHmmmm.... Clarity indeed gives success. In fact, even in relationships, lack of clarity will make it crash. Everyone needs to know what they want. Well articulated write up. 🙌🙌
ReplyDeleteA big reason why you see proposals being turned down, they never started out with a destination sometimes.
