HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH PEOPLE AROUND YOU.
From the existence of the world, man is to relate with the people around him. In one way or the other, there is always an association between an individual with others either temporary or permanent. A group of people might come together to carry out an experiment or a discovery, and then separate after the success of what they intended to do. That is a temporary relationship. Also, a man and his child will have a permanent relationship throughout the days of their lives. Relationship means connection and interaction with people.
In an organisation, there will surely be a relationship between the staff or workers. The fact is that the level of relationship defers, there's what we call general relationship and we can also have personal relationship. General relationship is the type of relationship we have towards everybody, such as greeting them, sharing some time together once in a while and others. Personal relationship has to do with intimacy between two or more people. The nucleus of the explanation is that there must be a kind of relationship between people.
As an entity living in this world, we have to extend our relationship beyond our family members only, we have to build up a good relationship with the people that are living around us. A good relationship with people around us shows that we are a mature person. Maturity is not only physical development, but, the way we can relate with others, our social life. It's very important to take note of our social life, remember that we cannot live in this world without the communication and the connection with relationship with other people. As a person living in an apartment, try and build a good relationship with other neighbours. We must be jovial, at least, try and greet each other when coming back from work. Hello, hi, good evening, how's work today? and other greetings is not bad when it comes out of your mouth.
Even though your nature is that you love to be lonely and live alone, try and build a small relationship with others. You will not get to know the importance of your relationship with others until you need the help of people around you. A societal issue we are facing is that people tend to only face their challenges alone without disclosing what they are passing through to others. This is actually wrong and unpleasant. Also, it is only a person that has good relationship with his fellow people that can disclose his or her problem with others.
Mind you, during the cause of your relationship with others, do not be too talkative by telling people the things that you have to keep for yourself. Try and be secretive in some situation but make sure you have a good relationship with people.
A Yoruba Proverb says "Eniyan ni aso eniyan",. It means that man can always have things to do with his fellow men. Therefore, be a JOVIAL PERSON from now on, it pays a lot. Many people have killed their dreams without them speaking up and having a connection with people that they ought to. Many people are dead because they did not tell others what they are passing through because they do not have a good relationship with them. Learn from the mistakes of the past, give yourself a time to think about this, and come out being a person that people loves through your attitudes towards them. Build good characters, improve your behaviours and let your relationship with people be full of love, joy and happiness. Remember that people will talk about your attitudes towards them even when you are not there. LET PEOPLE BE HAPPY WHEN THEY MENTION YOUR NAME.
