IF YOU ASK ME, NA WHO I GO ASK?

The heartbreaking situation of the country has gradually become a disturbing issue; the outcries come from everywhere, the judiciary a mess, the educational sector is in jeopardy, the government is a machinery of corruption. I can keep going on and on with the list and will still not find an ending to the maniac of our country’s situation.

About a few days ago,I saw a video featuring a guy who pulled pranks on different ladies. He said he would pay a whopping sum of #200,000 to have sex with them in public, just sex….. If you ask me, that is a rather huge sum going by what we face in the country these days. Imagine someone

promising such an exorbitant amount for just something which may last nothing less than 2 mins or  5 mins at most.

The first lady this guy pulled the prank on said she can’t have sex outside but she wouldn’t mind if he lodged in an hotel (smiles). Of course for an hotel lodging I would say #200,000 is rather too little, afterall I do not know you and may have to treat some infections after the 'DO' since we wouldn’t be doing a  'quickie' like if it were outside but , the guy insisted he wanted a public sex before later confessing that he is only pulling a prank on her.

After announcing to her that it was a prank, she lamented about the situation of the country and how she needed to treat her mum at  home. She was even on her way to get drugs for her, she was ashamed as she ridiculed herself on air but still added that if it weren’t a prank that sum would have improved some  areas of her life. So, if we look at it well enough, isn’t the situation of our country a justification for throwing away morals?

This same prank was pulled on another lady. This lady hastily agreed to the offer without any hesitation. The guy brought out a mattress to set the ball rolling, she was not bothered.  Even, until he told her he was pulling a prank, she was still not bothered. She also attributed her behaviour to the situation of the country, claiming that she is a good girl with nobody to help her and she was ready to help herself by having sex in the public. But, come to think of this, should that be an enough reason to throw caution to winds?  If I am not mixing things up, the lady also said that she had been to several places seeking jobs but they insisted on  having her before offering her the job, so, she claimed to choose having  public sex over copulating in closed doors and have a job. Again you see why our economic situation justifies throwing values to the bin?

Again, a couple of years back, there was the uproar of police brutality and corruption the  Nigerian youths tried to fight, having endured the tourture for too long. During this  rancuss,  a lot of things were revealed about the living condition of the policemen. We know of how their salaries are being held back and how the salaries they depend on are so meager that it is impossible for them to find a home. But, are these enough reasons to inflict pains on other families, put a life to a drastic short end, make a two legged man one legged, or make a four wheel home a two wheel home? Well, looking at it, we can say the situation of the economy justifies it all.

What  about cybercrime? The rate of cybercrime is so alarming that one would begin to think it is a legal business in the country. But really, isn’t the country’s delipidating situation enough justification to seek that as an avenue to earn living means? Isn’t ASUU's incessant outcry for earned allowances enough reason for the increase of this cyber crime activities? Many a time, student who ought to be in  school are compelled to go into  internet stealing as it should be called. Let me make it known that not only our so popular YAHOO YAHOO is the only cybercrime we have, others like ponzi schemes and the likes are also cyber criminal activities

But we cannot keep blaming the wrong people, isn't the economy enough justification?

Anyway if you ask me na who i go ask?

-Ayinke the skinny one

    1. But for how long will this be? Imagine the case if the lady who slept with a dog too.No condemnation to her because if you ask her to the economy is her justification but if we all throw morals away our country will end up becoming a den of immoral beings.

  3. Sin doesn't have to have a reason or a justification , we do because it's in the made up, but we make excuses , yet sensible and sensitive ones . But look at it in the global atmosphere, where things are conducive , yet we have it. What's the reason ? Even if things are going smoothly here, we will still have lawlessness , because that's the made up.. but until we know better

  4. Hmm! This is a lamentable tragedy. However, I talk from the stand point of the word of God, Isaiah 1:19, regardless of the hardship; following God is the best in in these situations not even morality now.
