We are all familiar with the famous story of the race between the tortoise and the hare. The hare believed in its own strength and, therefore, undermined the possibilities of the tortoise ever winning the race. As the saying goes, 'Slow and steady wins the race'. The tortoise eventually won the race.
In life, everyone seems to be ahead of us. Friends we finished secondary school or University together have 'made it' and it seems like we are redundant and not making progress. Sometimes we even want to give up that little we are doing and go to them to show us the swift way by which they got their own wealth. But the truth is we are doing our possible best. If you haven't bought the latest car yet, it is definitely because that car is not the best fit for you.
God has a special way of doing things such that the timing will be so perfect. Remember, there are tendencies that if Covid-19 hadn't come up, a lot of children wouldn't have 'truly met there parents' (LOL). What I'm saying is, there is a perfect timing for everything. If Cristiano Ronaldo had been playing soccer in the times of Zenidine Zidane, David Beckam, etc, he mightn't have made it to the limelight.
That little you're doing is what you should continue. What you don't know is that, what seems little to you means the whole world to somebody. Keep up the hustle!
A philosopher said: 'If you cannot fly, then run; if you cannot run then walk; if you cannot walk, then crawl; but by all means, keep moving!' Keep the hope burning. Don't give up now. One day, you will see the rainbows at the end of your clouds and a light at the end of the tunnel.
Remember, na person wey give up f**k up. Because, 'Asúré tete kan kòní kojá ilé, béèni arìngbère kan kòní sùn s'ónà' (He who runs will not run past his house, and the slow walker will not die on the road).
Have you a blessed week.
